Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2025, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham.

I studied for my PhD in English Literature at the University of Birmingham and completed my MA in English Literature at the University of Nottingham. My specialist areas of interest include learning and development in higher education, literary modernism, archival studies, textual criticism, and historical criminology. I find these fields fascinating from both research and teaching perspectives; for me, there is nothing more rewarding than integrating research into teaching, supporting student success, and continually developing my own pedagogy.

I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a member of the Association for Learning Development in Higher Education (ALDinHE).
