Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2025, I had a long and varied career as a clinical physiotherapist gaining extensive experience across multiple fields of physiotherapy, with particular focus on rehabilitation.
My specialist interest has developed in the management of clients with complex needs, shaped by more than a decade of experience working at a residential specialist school and college. This role, both the most challenging and rewarding of my career, enabled me to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, striving to make a meaningful, positive impact on the lives of these young people.
I obtained my Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy at Middlesex Hospital, London, in 1992, followed by a Higher Degree in Physiology from the University of London in 1997. I later completed my MSc in Human and Applied Physiology at Kings College, London, in 2001.
I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and hold my professional registration under Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
