Biography

Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2023, I worked in a hybrid collaboration between industry and academia, participating in a European Project called DIGIMAN4.0. Prior to this, I was involved in automation across various industries, designing ad-hoc and engineering-to-order special-purpose machinery. In these roles, I conceptualized, implemented, and executed diverse automation lines; some of these projects had a value of up to £3m. My broad interest in cutting-edge developments is evident through my current PhD studies in Industry 4.0.

I pursued both my Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering and Master's in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Zaragoza in Spain. My specialist area of interest and research is the digitalization of manufacturing knowledge using Artificial Intelligence. This area is intriguing because AI serves as an enabler of Industry 4.0, helping address the shortage of skilled workforce in some industries.

My specialist knowledge has led me to collaborate with aerospace, automotive, defence, and health companies such as LISI, JLR, Nissan, and Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances. I've contributed to projects like Darwin.

Among my notable achievements are a patent in new product development with Bosch and Siemens, along with numerous awards and nominations from Bosch and Siemens and Expert Tooling and Automation.
