Annet worked as a GP in Buckinghamshire for over 30 years. She was previously Chief Clinical Officer for NHS Chiltern Clinical Commissioning Group working with local health and care partners. Annet was also involved as a Lay Member with Ealing / Northwest London Clinical Commissioning Group.

She is currently a Non Executive Director, and Deputy Chair with Bedfordshire Hospitals Foundation Trust. Annet grew up in High Wycombe and continues to live here with her family. She enjoys tennis, DIY and gardening.
