BNU students entertain High Wycombe at Christmas light switch on

Students from Buckinghamshire New University’s Musical Theatre, Dance and Cheer societies performed at High Wycombe’s Christmas lights switch-on last week.

The students entertained the hundreds in attendance with dance routines and a Christmas medley.

The annual event took place on the evening of Thursday 18 November, after being cancelled last year due to COVID restrictions.

The event drew in a good crowd and Chairs of all three societies said it was great to perform in front of a crowd again.

Nikki Littleboy, Chair of BNU Dance Club, said: “The Christmas light switch-on is a massive opportunity for our dancers to perform as well as get involved with the local community. We enjoy the event every single year, and it was great to be back performing in the centre of High Wycombe again.”
