In accordance with UKVI regulations, international students who require a visa to study in the UK cannot extend their visa for reasons relating to pregnancy, maternity, paternity, the adoption process, or for any other childcare reasons. It is essential that any international student who becomes pregnant contacts their Academic Tutor as early in the pregnancy as possible, so that support can be provided.

Please note: maternity leave from your studies is not permitted under your Student visa.

Being born in the UK does not automatically make a baby a British citizen.

Remember, that most airlines will not carry passengers who are 7 months or more pregnant, so make sure you take this into account when planning.
