Emilia Moffatova's story
By the time you leave Bucks you will be equipped with the essential skills that are required in the world of work.
Our BA (Hons) Business Management graduate, Emilia, recently shared with us her journey and experiences as a BNU student.
Emilia decided she wanted to join the Bucks family after attending one of our open days. She says the ‘Small university feel is what drew me to the university’ in comparison to the other universities she visited.
After graduating from her BA, Emilia landed herself an amazing role as a HR Associate at Grünenthal Ltd. She mentions that in her current position she draws massively on the lessons she got taught at BNU.
My course took on a practical approach, working on live projects with real businesses. I now find that every module I covered, is relevant and contributing to my everyday tasks at work.
Throughout her time with us, Emilia shared that her knowledge base and skills grew, meaning by the time she graduated she was career-ready. She says ‘By the time you leave Bucks you will be equipped with the essential skills that are required in the world of work; Prioritisation, time management and team working just being some’.
Like many of our other students, past and present, Emilia wants to share her positive experience with others. She shares ‘The lecturers are always accessible and ready to help. I am where I am now because of all the support that I received from my lecturers throughout my three years. All you have to do is look at the alumni’s to see what Bucks offers.’
We understand that it can be difficult moving away to study however we pride ourselves on making it as comfortable for you as possible. So it’s great when one of our alumni’s, like Emilia, states; ‘It felt like home.’
