Graduation 2020: Guest ticket information
You can only purchase guest tickets through the online graduation registration system.
Once you have bought your guest tickets, you will be sent a confirmation email including details of the date and time of your ceremony.

- Adults: £15 per guest
- Children (aged 2-16): £10.00 per child
- Children (aged 0-2): Free - Require a lap seat ticket
Guest ticket information
The University makes a charge for each guest ticket to cover all the associated costs of holding the ceremonies. There is no charge for graduands.
When you have registered you will be able to book up to three adult or child tickets (subject to availability). There is no charge for children under the age of two but they will require a lap seat ticket. Please order these when you book your other tickets. A lap seat ticket will count as one of the three tickets you are initially allowed to book.
All children must be accompanied by an adult guest. You will not be allowed to book a child ticket by itself.
Tickets are not confirmed until you have paid for them and received a confirmation email. Tickets are not sent out in advance and are collected from the registration desk at the High Wycombe campus on the day of your ceremony.

If there are guest tickets still available after the student registration has closed, students who have already registered and require more tickets for their guests can purchase up to an additional three tickets (subject to availability). These tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis. Please go back into your online Graduation registration to purchase these tickets.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. In accordance with the Swan Theatre regulations, children aged over 2 will require a seat. Children under the age of 2 are not allocated a seat. However; they will need a lap seat ticket and you must request a lap seat ticket when you book online.
Children are welcome to attend the ceremonies but please note due to the length and formal nature of the ceremonies very young children may become restless. We ask parents/carers to take any disruptive children out of the auditorium so as not to disturb the audience. A live screening area will be made available in the downstairs foyer of the theatre for those who have come out of the auditorium.
We cannot process the visa letter request form unless you have completed your online registration and paid for your guest tickets. Once the University receives the visa request and your award has been confirmed by the Board of Examiners, a letter on University headed paper, addressed to the relevant British High Commission or Embassy confirming your eligibility to graduate, will be sent to you to pass on to your guest(s).
Please allow plenty of time for your visa request to be dealt with by the High Commission or British Embassy as in some cases it can take several weeks to process a visa application.
When booking online, you will be asked if your guests have any access requirements to enable us to provide appropriate seats. If your guest is in a wheelchair please be sure to order a wheelchair ticket.
While we try to ensure family groups sit together however we cannot guarantee this if your guests require special access. Should you wish separate seating for guests, please let us know and we will try to accommodate this.
DEADLINE – 16 AUGUST 2021
If your guests are unable to attend graduation a refund for any guest tickets may be available. A refund will be made if you cancel by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org by 16 August 2021. Refunds after this date will only be allowed for specific reasons relating to COVID-19 or other exceptional reasons where proof can be provided.
Refunds for photography and gowns must be requested from Ede & Ravenscroft and not from the University.
