We’ve invested in a range of state-of-the-art facilities across our campuses to support your learning.

Our library is the perfect place to find the resources you need and a quiet place to study, filled with four floors of books, journals, computer suites and study rooms. Or, if you’d rather work off campus, e-Journals and resources are only a few clicks away using our Virtual Learning Environment.

What will I study?

The course includes core modules that explore the structure and development of the air transport industry, operations, security and safety.

The main requirements of organisational resilience, managing staff, human resource management, finance and operations are included.

Optional modules are provided for candidates with reference to their career pathway in the HM Forces.

How will I be taught and assessed?

This programme is intended to link and build your capability, that will use previous experience and knowledge as the foundation and basis for study.

The degree builds on our success in developing and delivering flexible and applied programmes, allowing you to study in the context of real organisations and your current and future operating environments.

You will benefit from our industry connections, and go away with the specialist skills, insights and contacts to maximise on the varied employment opportunities open to you in this specialised sector.

This is an online distance learning course that offers the flexibility of part-time study, and allows you to balance your studies alongside your professional and personal commitments.

What are the course entry requirements?

Armed Forces students will be offered two entry points to the programme depending on rank and experience -

Entry Point A (Level 5) - Two Years Entry Point B (Level 6) - One Year

All students from the subject branches and trades up to and including the rank of Corporal will be eligible to commence the degree at Level 5. Students at Senior NCO rank (Sergeant) and above including commissioned ranks will be able to enter the programme at Level 6. Modules in this programme will include a research project (AI661 - 30 credits) and 3 x 30.

On successful completion of this award, you will find your employment prospects enhanced and your understanding of the subjects covered significantly deepened.

Armed forces personnel will have gained the requisite knowledge and analytical skills to enable them to perform at higher management levels in the Service and the wider military.

Recent graduates joining civilian life are more likely to be able to obtain employment in various sectors; and importantly will be better equipped to seek promotion.

All graduates will have developed transferable skills that can be used in a wide range of employment roles.
