Wayne Palmer

Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2012, I was a commissioned officer in the Royal Air Force. I served as an airman, officer and RAF Reservist in the UK and overseas.

I studied for my post-graduate qualifications (MSc in e-business and MBA) at Buckinghamshire New University and currently I am a part-time PhD research student examining veteran suicide. My specialist areas are business, management and computing.

I am a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Through my research, I have had the opportunity to work with Suicide Bereavement UK, The British Legion, Thames Valley Police, University of Manchester, NHS and other organisations to promote the wellbeing of veterans.
