Since leaving school to work in the music industry in 1990, I have been lucky enough to work in some amazing studios and on some incredible tours. I began at Matrix in London as a ‘Tape Op’ – making the tea and generally helping out around the studio before graduating to an assistant and eventually a sound engineer. I then worked at various studios for the next few years as a freelancer which lead me to work on many great recordings, learning so much from other engineers and producers. In 1998 I began working in live sound, starting with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra before moving to pop acts.

I worked with a lot of big acts of the era including 5Ive, Steps, 911, Billie Piper, S-Club 7, Kim Wilde, Howard Jones, The Thompson Twins, OMD, Nik Kershaw, Samantha Fox, Republica, Belinda Carlisle, Haircut 100 and Andy Bell.

After mainly working in sound, in 2007, after shooting a couple of music videos, I began a new career as a filmmaker. I have directed 4 feature films that have been released internationally as well as over 30 music videos with various acts. I have also shot and directed adverts for various clients including a week-long shoot in LA working with the LAPD SWAT team.
