Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in August 2020, I was working as a lecturer in India. I have taught a number of modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level, following industrial experience in the field of oil and gas in R & D centre.
I studied for my Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry at Delhi Technological University, conducting research into polymer based organic solar cells. My specialist areas of interest are varied and multidisciplinary in nature and encompass aspects of organic solar cells, polymers, conducting polymers and product designing. I am particularly interested in the applications of these research topics in general to the design of sustainable systems and processes.
I am a member of Asian Polymer Association (APA).
My specialist knowledge has led me to work with Indian Oil Corporation R & D on projects such as biodiesel extraction and extraction of oil from oil shale. Currently, I am working on an EU Horizon 2020 funded project “Photoirradiation and adsorption based Novel innovations for water treatment (PANI-Water)”.
I have authored 10 reviewed publications in international journals of high repute. I have numerous presentations in National/international conferences and I am a regular reviewer for an international journal published by Wiley.
