Biography

Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2021, I worked with South Central Ambulance Service, from a newly qualified paramedic to a Specialist Paramedic in Urgent Care.

I completed my BSc in Paramedicine at the University of the Sunshine Coast, in Australia. In the UK, I have completed a PGCert in Minor Injury / Illness with the University of West London as part of my Specialist Paramedic training. I am currently undergoing a PG Certificate in Academic Practice.

I am the course leader for Paramedic High Wycombe campus. I split my time with BNU as a Senior Lecturer, and South Central Ambulance Service as a Specialist Paramedic, both part-time roles. I am currently the Admissions Tutor for the paramedic team. My research interests include urgent care, community care, and hospital avoidance.
