Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2017, I qualified as a barrister and worked in the legal sector for some time, before transitioning into lecturing. Prior to starting at Buckinghamshire New University, I lectured at both undergraduate and postgraduate level across several universities and gained extensive experience in the profession.
I studied for my law degree at the University of Hertfordshire, achieving a 1st class honours classification and then I undertook the Bar Practitioner Course at the University of London. I thoroughly enjoyed the advocacy aspect of my studies and I feel this is has helped my lecturing immensely. I try to help students in developing their public speaking skills by passing on the information and knowledge I obtained throughout my time at law school.
I am a member of Gray’s Inn.
My specialist knowledge has led me to publish two articles with Legalease, a subscription-based law journal written for professionals and academics alike.
