Biography
  • I am an experienced academic with a proven track record in research, teaching and curriculum development leadership. My research interest in sustainability cuts across the business-society nexus and its consequences on public, private, and civic spheres for sustainable development. I have coordinated and contributed to over 10 key projects including Global Challenges Research Fund, Santander, Dunnhumby, The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), Society for the Advancement of Management Studies funded projects.

    I am experienced in the provision of excellent leadership in management and promotes collegial environment that mutually benefits academic colleagues and engender excellent learning experience for PhD students. I have held leadership positions such as Co-Director of MBA, Chair of Examiners, Chair of UN Principles of Responsible Education (PRME) steering group and Academic and Accreditation Board Memberships. I am a sustainability food subject editor for MDPI Sustainability Journal and sustainable consumption academic editor of Journal of Sustainability Research.

    I have over 100 publications including more than 80 journal articles, over 12 publications in proceedings of refereed international conferences, a co-editor and co-author of two books and two book chapter contributions published by Palgrave Macmillan. My research output is consistently recognized as internationally excellent and several of them judged as world class.
