Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2018, I was a visiting lecturer in Project Management at University of Bedfordshire. Prior to this, however, I have worked in both public and private institutions.
I hold a PhD in Project Management from the University of Bedfordshire, my research exploring existing project selection practises across different public sector organisations in Nigeria. Prior to that, I completed an MSc in Project Management and hold a Higher National Diploma in Estate Management as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education.
My primary research interests lie in broad areas of Project Management and Project Selection. I am particularly interested in research centered on improving public sector project delivery, value and stakeholder engagement, and project selection in Sub-Saharan Africa and implementation of best practices in developing and transitional countries.
I am a fellow of Higher Education Academy (HEA), and an associate member of Association for Project Management (APM).
My specialist knowledge has led me to work with clients such as the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing, Abakaliki Capital Territory Development Board, as well as JustLets Residential Property Management Ltd.
My greatest accolade to date is working with National Youth Corps Ebonyi State and other philanthropists to raise funds for the construction of a 3.5km dilapidated road.
