Dr Dorin Festeu

Biography

Working at Buckinghamshire New University since 2000, I teach a variety of modules such as research methods, statistics, information analysis, performance analysis, coaching education, strategic management and business analytics. In 2009, I was selected by my colleagues as a ‘Teaching Fellow’ and later became Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

I studied for my MA in Teaching and Learning at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College and my PhD also at BCUC, awarded by Brunel University.

I have developed expertise in bidding for funding and directing large scale national and international educational projects, the total value of which amounting to £3 million. I have also led teams of academics from 42 European universities in the development of educational projects in the areas of non-formal education, entrepreneurship, e-learning, health rehabilitation, employability, engineering and innovation.

Currently, I am a member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal on Leisure and Tourism Marketing and of the Socio-Economic Problems and the State Journal-Ukraine. I have previously served as the Director of other esteemed projects such as IMFUTURE, ARTURE, and the Erasmus-Plus FABLAB project.
