Claire Rose

Biography

I have been extremely passionate about music since a very young age, and after attending my first festival I knew this was a world I needed to immerse myself into. After studying at Buckinghamshire New University, I have gone on to work at PRS for Music as an Outreach Manager for over six years. In my role I meet with artists and bands across all genres, record labels, managers, publishers, and industry and artist development organisations. I have hosted a vast variety of events and regularly attend events such as The Great Escape, Eurosonic, and BBC Introducing Live, and festivals such as Glastonbury, Boomtown, and Dot To Dot.

Outside of my role at PRS for Music, I work for Women in CTRL as the Community Manager. Women in CTRL is the not-for-profit trade body representing women and underrepresented groups in the music industry. Our aim is to empower and develop women in a safe community space, helping them to advance their career and therefore encourage more women in senior and CEO positions.
