Charlotte Leighton-Woods

During my final year at Buckinghamshire New University, I decided I wanted to run for President of the Students’ Union because I had a real passion for helping my fellow students. The Union provided so much care and support to me and I felt that it was my turn to give back, and before I knew it, I was elected!

I studied for my BA (Hons) in Hair and Makeup for Film and Performance at Buckinghamshire New University, specifically SFX and Prosthetic makeup. My dream is to be a highly sought after SFX Artist for major films and TV series.

My skills in prosthetic makeup have allowed me to work on several high profile projects including Head Makeup Artist on the music video for ‘Everything But You’ – By Clean Bandit ft. A7S, which is the highlight of my career so far. I currently have several exciting projects in the works including Makeup Designer in an upcoming horror film.
