Catherine Forward

I have been working for Buckinghamshire New University since the start of 2016 and prior to that, have worked in further education and with Bucks Healthcare Trust as part of the school nursing and health visitor team. My nursing career began in Scotland where I trained at the Highland campus of the University of Stirling, qualifying in 2002. I also obtained a Master’s in Medical Law and Ethics at the University of Glasgow in 2010, prior to gaining my teaching qualifications.

Currently, I am the academic lead for apprenticeships within the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Working closely with the University’s apprenticeship hub, I support our programme leaders and apprenticeship partnership managers in their delivery and support of our apprentice learners. I have previously written for the British Journal of School Nursing and GP journal, Innovait.
