Biography

I studied for my BA in Geography at Lampeter, the University of Wales, and my MA in Sociology of Sport at the University of Leicester, before completing my PGCE and PG DIP at what was then Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College.

My areas of teaching include sociology, cultural theory, social psychology, research methods, ethics and business strategy. My multidisciplinary approach informs subsequent research interests, including the study of group behaviour, as well as examining communication, mediation and identity within live event environments.

I have taught on the music management related courses since they launched in 1995, and continue to contribute to the foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
