Beth Claridge


Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2019, I was a marketing director of an independent management company whose clients included major labels; Universal Music, Sony Music, Warner Music and BMG, and Live Nation.  We oversaw and ran marketing campaigns for both live events and product releases.  I also worked as a stage manager, artist liaison and compare for 10 years on the John Peel Stage at Glastonbury Festival.

I studied for my Music Industry Management BA hons at Brunel University, my PGCE at Westminster University and have QTLS status, and my specialist area of interest/research is Music Marketing and Mental Health in young people and the education of mental health awareness in society and education environments. 

My specialist knowledge has led me to work with all the major record companies and music industry professionals on projects such as U2, 50 Cent, Black Eyed Peas, Stevie Wonder, Fleetwood Mac, David Guetta, Sparks, Sting, Snow Patrol, Queens Of The Stone Age, Steve Winwood, The Eagles, Steely Dan, Allen Ant Farm, AFI, Tom Rush, Earth, Wind & Fire, Neil Diamond, Pearl Jam, Vangelis, Tears For Fears, INXS, Don Henley, Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand and Tony Bennett among others.
