Alasdair Cant

I am a Director of Alasdair Cant & Associates, a Cambridge-based company founded in 1997. I am an Advanced MI Practitioner and accredited team Coach, specialising in behaviour change. Our company works across a variety of settings and specialisms, including social care, health, criminal justice and education. Myself and my team of highly experienced Associates bring an extra dimension to MI training through long experience in the areas critical to Children’s Services such as Alcohol/Substance Misuse, Mental Health, Youth Offending and Domestic Abuse, as well as in Management Development work with teams.

In the last three years, our focus has been on contributing to the success of the Family Safeguarding Model in a range of local authorities, including Hertfordshire, Luton, West Berkshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire, Walsall, Leeds, Lancashire, Telford & Wrekin, Wandsworth, Northamptonshire, West Sussex and Liverpool.
