Ajay Gupta

Before joining Buckinghamshire New University in 2019, I was working in acute ambulatory medicine at the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford, which I continue to do. I also hold the position of Lead Physician Associate at Oxford University Hospitals (OUH).

I completed my MSc in Physician Associate Studies at the University of Worcester in 2016, after earning a BMedSc in Medical Science.

I am a member of the Faculty of Physician Associates (FPA) and Royal College of Physicians. Furthermore, I am registered under the FPA on the Physician Associate Managed Voluntary Register, which upon statutory regulation will be taken on by the General Medical Council (GMC).

My career highlights are working with NHS organisations, medical employers, and education providers as the programme lead at BNU, and my time as a physician associate ambassador for the Thames Valley region.
