BA (Hons) International Tourism Management with Air Travel

At Buckinghamshire New University, you will work with highly experienced teaching staff, who have hands-on sector knowledge and contacts, to gain a deep insight into international tourism and air travel. In addition, guest speakers often deliver sessions for students within the University to enrich their learning – in the past we've welcomed speakers from the likes of TUI and British Airways.

Whilst studying, we also offer work placement opportunities (which are often paid) and allow you to hone your skills, and make valuable connections for your future. Recent internships have been with TUI, Glastonbury and Wimbledon.

Our Tourism programmes are accredited by the prestigious Institute of Travel and Tourism, providing students with access to their networking and careers events.

I was able to enhance my career prospect through attending events at Heathrow Air Traffic Control tower, meeting the CEO of Qantas Airlines and the Communications Director of Boeing and attending parliamentary receptions at the House of Commons. I made a lot of professional connections that ultimately enhanced my employment potential.
