We make sure you have access to a wide range of activities when you are at Bucks which are a great way to have fun, get involved and maybe even get into something new!

Recreational activities

As a part of the Big Deal we can offer a broad, varied range of recreational activities, ranging from one-off classes, taster sessions to guest speakers and demonstrations to cater for our diverse student population, at times that suit you.

 

With all these activities being free it gives you the opportunity not only to continue what you enjoyed back home, but to try new and exciting things you may never have considered doing before.

 

The Athletics Union provides the opportunity to play competitive sport against other universities in a variety of national leagues, both in teams and individual sports. There are also opportunities to play on a friendly and recreational basis and compete in our Varsity fixture as well as intramural events.

 

Our clubs and societies grow and adapt every year. We are keen to make sure that you can meet up with likeminded people and have the opportunity to get involved in something new whilst you are at Bucks.

 

By getting involved in a club or society you not only get to participate in an activity or event that you enjoy, you also have an opportunity to help shape and develop the society through various committee positions, which not only ensures the longevity of the society but also looks good on your CV.
