We have the time to listen, advise and support students providing a professional, independent and confidential service, which is accessible and welcoming.
We will use our experience and knowledge on student issues to influence University thinking to ‘make life better for students at Bucks.’
What you can expect from us
A service that is available to all students at Bucks, regardless of gender, race, age, sexuality, disability, culture, marital status, belief or income.
Confidentiality
We will not inform anyone outside the Advice Centre about your situation or even that you have contacted us, unless you want us to. The only exception to this is if we believe you are at serious risk of hurting yourself or others.
Independent
We are part of Bucks Students’ Union therefore we can act on your behalf if you have any issues with the University. We will listen to what you have to say without judgement and with respect and aim to give you impartial advice. The course of action to take is yours. If we are unable to help you we will do our best to direct you to someone who can.
