A Bucks New University Student ID card is essential; it permits access to the Campus, acts as your library card and provides you with an email login. Without it you will not have access to many of the Gateway rooms, library lending, email, printing facilities or exams. You will also require your Student ID card for admittance to formal examinations and to prove your identity outside the University (i.e. when opening a student bank account).
Whether you are a new or continuing student you must bring the following with you to your enrolment session in order to receive your Student ID card:
- valid passport or photo-card driving licence
- support notification from the Student Loans Company (if applicable)
- payment, in either Direct Debit mandate, credit card form, cash or cheque (if not applying for support).
- proof of qualifications
Your ID card should be kept with you at all times. You will need it to gain access to a number of the University facilities or to prove your identity as a student.
New students will find a
Student ID request form in their welcome infomation. If you have returned a passport-sized colour photograph by post with your name and Student ID number written clearly on the reverse, your card will be ready for you at enrolment.
