At Bucks we can provide you with lots of advice and information, but there are a number of other useful places you can visit for specific questions.
 
There are a range of organisations who have information about the support available to students with disabilities as well as specific charities who can provide clear information about different disabilities. Some key online resources can be found below:
 
Adult Dyslexia Organisation (ADO) – Provides advice, supports and empowerment for adults with dyslexia.
 
Department for Employment and Learning, Northern Ireland (DELNI) – Provides information for students from Northern Ireland regarding education and funding support available.
 
Directgov - Provides information about student finance including Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) in England.

Dyslexia Action - Is a national charity that aims to improve lives through education and training.  
 
Dyslexia and Dyspraxia Association (DADA) - Is a voluntary group who aim to provide support for individuals of all ages with dyslexia and/or dyspraxia.

Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) – The EHRC promote and monitor human rights and protect, enforce and promote equality across the seven "protected" grounds which include disability.

Mind – Mental health charity and advice service
 
National Autistic Society – Is the UK's largest provider of specialist autism services and can provide advice for those living with autism.
 
Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) – The RNIB is the UK's leading charity offering information, support and advice to almost two million people with sight loss.
 
Royal National Institute of Deaf People (RNID) – The RNID is the largest charity in the UK tackling hearing loss and making hearing matter.

Skill - The national bureau for students with disabilities

Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS) – Provides information on support for students from Scotland.
 
The British Dyslexia Association (BDA) – The BDA is a national charity whose vision is that of a dyslexia friendly society that enables dyslexic people of all ages to reach their full potential.
