The Lounge - £
High Wycombe Campus (run by Bucks Students’ Union)
Café bar by day and student hotspot by night! Licensed until two or three in the morning, The Lounge plays host to events throughout the week and we think it’s the best value in town – from curry nights to comedy, acoustic acts to drum and bass DJs, the Pub Quiz to album launches - it all happens here.
The White Room - £
High Wycombe Campus (run by Bucks Students’ Union)
Home to all our theme parties and fancy dress events, it’s also the premiere live music venue for miles around. It’s fully kitted out with state-of-the-art equipment that allows the Students’ Union to put on the best acts, open all week and the busiest student venue in town. All the profits go back into the Students’ Union to make your experience even better!

Popular with students and young professionals. O'Neils offers live music, DJ sets and theme nights. Plus it is only 30 seconds from campus
The Antelope - ££
Church Square, High Wycombe
Very popular pub/club, offers great student nights throughout the week and can boast a huge seated outdoor area compltete with patio heaters. So you can enjoy an el fresco beverage even when the nights are drawing in.
The Hobgoblin - ££

Quirky pub offering a fine selection of real ales, alternative music and a fantastic beer garden. They even have a retro games table, Space Invaders anyone?

Offers fantastic food and an extensive cocktail menu. Perfect for when you want to impress
Vodka Revolution - £££
Maxwell Road, Beaconsfield
For the more adventurous amongst you, Vodka Revs in Beaconsfied attracts revelers from far and wide. It's only 10 minutes down the train line from High Wycombe and seconds from the station, which is handy.
Pure Nightclub - £££
Octagon Parade, High Wycombe
Open until the early hours and always makes for an entertaining evening.
Plus many more,. If all of this isn't enough for you, you can also be in central london within 30 minutes by train.
Uxbridge
Crown & Sceptre - ££
High Street, Uxbridge
This is a traditional town pub, with a decent selection of beers on draught and a limited food menu (although they do a mean fish and chips). There are quality club nights on a Friday, and a decent student night on Tuesday.
Slug and Lettuce - ££
Chimes, Uxbridge
A chain pub with good service and a modern, clean interior. If you fancy a quick drink, a coffee, light snack or something more substantial they've usually got a food or drink deal to make it taste a little sweeter! Be warned, it gets very busy at weekends.
Zanzi Bar - £££
High Street, Uxbridge
With a large beer garden, great music and ice-cool bar staff this place does get very busy at weekends!
Liquid & Envy - £££
High Street, Uxbridge
This is Uxbridge's biggest nightclub, it is based in an old cinema with an excellent sound system and good service. It is expensive if you aren't going to student night on Wednesday (don't forget your NUS card!) Liquid provides a unique clubbing experience with breathtaking visuals. Envy is reserved for older clientele!
