Hell fire caves entranced
Our High Wycombe Campus is in an area which for over 40 years has been officially designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. If you are looking for a relaxing day and some fresh air you can stroll through brick and flint villages, explore woodland or simply kick your heels by a passing stream.

West Wycombe Park
, owned by the National Trust is home to the West Wycombe Caves, once residence of Sir Francis Dashwood, one of the founders of the notorious Hellfire Club. The caves and park attract visitors all year round. Surrounding the mansion with its classical features, you’ll find Rococo landscape gardens and an ornamental lake. The caves are still believed to be haunted and used to play host to the gatherings of the Hellfire Club, visit if you dare!

Whilst you are in town you could discover High Wycombe’s hands-on museum, situated in beautiful grounds, the Wycombe Museum is housed in an eighteenth-century building and opens a window on the area’s past.

If you are looking for a bit of artistic culture, you can always get a spot of entertainment at our local theatre, the Wycombe Swan which holds regular comedy clubs, through to touring west-end musicals Christmas pantomimes and musical recitals and drama.

Our Uxbridge Campus there has excellent links into the centre of London, there are also some hidden gems dotted around the area too, such as the huge Colne Valley Park and the Grand Union Canal - you can, if you are so inclined, walk or cycle down the tow-path all the way to Camden Lock, or even hire a canal boat for the day!

If you're after some cultural pastimes the renowned Beck Theatre in Hayes is also a short bus ride away, which has regular showings of dance, drama, stand-up and musicals.
