Bucks Students’ Union offers a broad, varied range of recreational activities, ranging from one-off classes, taster sessions to guest speakers and demonstrations which cater for our diverse student population, at times that suit you. With all these activities being free it gives you the opportunity not only to continue what you enjoyed doing back home, but to try new and exciting activities you may have never considered doing before.

The benefit of getting involved in these activities is that it opens up new experiences and friendship groups that you may not have found ordinarily. You may even learn transferable skills that will benefit you in your future employment, start a hobby for life or maybe just help pass the time and give you a welcome break from your studies!

The activities range from Thai cookery, wakeboarding, demonstrations in mixology, DJing, mechanics plus a whole lot more – there really is something for everyone.

At points throughout the academic year the SU runs various different trips away from the campus for free. These trips can include Thorpe park, plays and musicals in West End theatres or even shopping trips in time for Christmas. These are stress-free, fun trips for you to enjoy across a range of different activities.
