Coming to university is not just about the degree you're studying but also the experiences you have whilst you are here. At Bucks we want to make sure your experience is fulfilling, fun and will give you some ‘added extras’ when you embark on your career.
We have made a commitment to your experience and are always trying to find ways to offer you more from your time here. There are options to learn additional skills in short courses and in our
Employability Enhancement Programme through free workshops, compete as part of a team in our annual Enterprise Festival, keep fit or train at our
state-of-the-art gym and
exercise classes, go on international and
European exchange programmes to enhance skills and knowledge, become a student rep or mentor.
The
Bucks Students’ Union offers many opportunities to get involved with sports teams and competition, various clubs and societies, volunteering in the community, fundraising, trips, and nights out in our bars or further afield, so there is definitely something for everyone!
Holly Webster said, “I was captain of the netball team and we went on tour. I was a student ambassador and a course rep! My friends and I went on all the nights out, events were free with the Big Deal, netball was free to join with the SU, we got equipment and there were free recreation activities that went on too.”
