Student experience

We know that coming to university is a big step and you and your family will want to know all the options and information on where you are going to live whilst you are with us. 

Throughout this living section we hope to answer many of the questions you have about the where we are, the different accommodation available and how you can get to us.

We want to make sure you are as happy as you can be in your new surroundings. Here is what some of our students have said about the area:

High Wycombe

Ben Wade said: “It’s the perfect location really, even though it’s small, the University is in the middle of a good town, when you compare it to other universities it’s really convenient because everything is within a stone’s throw of the main campus.”

Katie Louise Twining said, “When I started I was based on one of the old campuses but the new campus at High Wycombe is much better! At lunches you can easily go into town, or you can go shopping – I think the location is really good. Most students live in and around the town so when it comes to the evenings at the SU it’s really easy. There are taxis and cabs and trains to get around.”

Uxbridge

Rosealeen Rantham said: “The new campus is close to lots of hospitals, so the location is really good for us.”
