Feeling nervous about the demands of studying and living at university? Has it been a while since you were in education? Just looking to get a head start on your studies?
The Learning Development Unit offers a number of programmes which are designed to help you prepare for life and study at the university and manage the transition from your previous educational experiences into higher education. These courses are optional and are designed to boost your confidence and provide you with an introduction to valuable study skills that will help you get the most from your time at Bucks.
There are two face-to-face options: Headstart (a four day course, run on the High Wycombe campus) and two one day writing skills workshops (also run at High Wycombe). Startonline, an online option, is also available. For details, please see below.
