Academic appeals


The University’s appeals process operates within the context of the Learning Partnership Agreement and the QAA Code of Practice, Section 5: Academic Appeals and Student Complaint on Academic Matters. 
 
If you wish to appeal against the decision of a Board of Examiners, Mitigating Circumstances Panel, Academic Misconduct Panel, Fitness to Practice Panel, or decision to remove or exclude you from practice, please contact your faculty registrar straight away.
 
It is important to remember that you must submit your notice of appeal within the time limit and with the relevant reasons/grounds as published in the University’s regulations.
 
You are strongly advised to contact the Students’ Union Advice Centre for support and guidance in all matters relating to appeals.
