Presentations and activities

The team can run a number of presentations either on campus, or at your school or college. The presentations are designed to provide students with a detailed understanding as to how students should apply to university, and what it is like to be a student. We currently run presentations in the following areas:
  • How to apply to university
  • How to find the right university for you
  • Personal statements
  • Student finance
  • Student life
  • Why go to university?
The presentations can last from 20 minutes to an hour, depending on your needs and we would also be happy to merge the presentations to suit your event.

Furthermore, we also run a number of activities and workshops in the following areas:
  • Budgeting and student finance
  • Mock interviews
  • Personal statements
  • Study skills
  • Skills for higher education
Although these activities are primarily aimed at Sixth Form students, we would be happy to adapt some of them to suit a younger audience.

Subject specific activities

If you have a group of students who are interested in studying a specific subject, we offer talks that can provide them with more detailed information from within the subject area, as well as advice as to what to include within their application. We can generally offer subject talks in the following areas:
  • Art and design
  • Business studies
  • Computing
  • Law
  • Media
  • Performing arts
  • Police studies
  • Psychology
  • Tourism
Depending on your requirements, we can deliver these talks on campus but this would depend on the availability of lecturers.
We also run a number of subject specific days on campus at the University, if you would like further information about the activities please contact us.
