Volunteering
Our Students' Union runs a very successful volunteering scheme which has enabled Bucks students to be actively involved in the community and gain invaluable experience. Many of our students volunteer with local charities such as Wycombe Youth Action and Mencap.
We always try and match students to a role that is both suitable and enjoyable. Through volunteering students develop the skills that employers look for in graduates.
We are always on the lookout for volunteering opportunities that will enhance student's employability. We work in several ways:
• we place students in local charities and organisations
• we create new projects and events with local partner organisations
• we help students create their own projects
• we organise one-off services to individuals and groups in the community.
