
Across our campuses, you can choose from a number of versatile spaces, including conference rooms and lecture theatres as well as seminar and study rooms; ideal for when you need to make the most of your time away from a busy office. Gateway Lecture Theatre
Our Gateway Lecture Theatre on the High Wycombe Campus is capable of seating 200 people. Fully air conditioned and sound proof, it offers a comfortable environment for corporate presentations as well as a great venue for teaching and workshops. The room is equipped with a PC lectern allowing full control over the lighting, sound and three overhead projectors, helping you to effectively convey your message.
Owen Harris lecture theatres
Owen Harris 1 (OH1) is our large, tiered lecture theatre, located on the ground floor of the Owen Harris building on the High Wycombe campus. With over 200 fixed seats arranged in a comfortable theatre-seating style, OH1 is perfect for large conferences and corporate meetings. The theatre holds three projectors with DVD, PC and VHS input, which can be projected either onto one large screen or two smaller screens in order to better convey your message. A digital document camera rounds off the features and gives any presentation that extra air of quality.
Meeting rooms
We can also accommodate smaller, more intimate groups. Our North Wing building, on the High Wycombe Campus, has a great deal of comfortable seminar rooms that have hearing loops as standard. The flexible seating and desks allow any groups to arrange the layout as they see fit. With capacities of either 20 or 30, these rooms are ideally located near our main cafeteria and only a short walk from the lecture theatres. Each air-conditioned room has a data projector that can display images from any PC or laptop onto a pull-down screen, or the speaker can use the whiteboards in each room to capture ideas from the audience.
Glass rooms
There are multiple group study rooms inside our Learning Resource Centre; each one comes equipped with a large screen HD TV. These rooms provide a quiet space for study, but also make a great space for meetings and small presentations. Our larger study rooms can seat up to 12 people.
Executive Boardroom
The Executive Boardroom benefits from a stunning view across High Wycombe. It can seat up to 28 people and comes equipped with a wide array of media playback equipment and Tandberg video conferencing capabilities. Refreshments can be provided, ranging from tea and coffee to a full buffet lunch, freshly made by our onsite catering team.
The Old Boardroom
The Old Boardroom has a number of benefits, which include; natural daylight, data projector, air conditioning, and a great amount of flexible space (14x8 meters), which allows for a diverse amount of training and conferencing. The Old Boardroom has a maximum capacity of 90 in a theatre or classroom style layout, 40 in a boardroom style and 60 in a cabaret style.
Uxbridge Campus
Classrooms / quiet rooms
Our first two floors on Uxbridge Campus holds eight classrooms each, perfect for smaller meeting groups and seminars. Each classroom can hold 21 people and comes with air-conditioning and digital projectors as standard. The chairs and desks are not fixed, allowing flexibility in the layout of any event. Moreover, two of our classrooms on the ground floor can be combined into one, large meeting room with a capacity of 70.
Along with this, the third floor also holds two more classrooms along with two fully-furnished quiet rooms used for reflection and study.
Skills labs
Along with our classrooms we have our five teaching skills labs, specially designed to look just like hospital wards with clinical beds and a full and comprehensive range of clinical equipment such as thermometers, stethoscopes, blood pressure monitors and ECG monitors, together with a wide range of teaching mannequins and others simulation models.
The Park Room
On our recently-renovated third floor we hold our large conference room which can seat 150 people in comfort. Flexible seating allows the room layout to be changed easily; from a conference room, to an open area, to an examination hall.
Executive Boardroom
We also have our inviting 28-seater boardroom with its hexagonal layout, which is perfect for meetings where equal discussion is paramount.
