Facilities for hire

At Bucks New University, we have a wide range of specialist art and design studios, all of which are available for hire. There is space to work and collaborate on tasks, with access to computers and a photographic studio.

For fields with a 3D focus, we have a wide range of specialist workshops, including wood, metal, fine metals and ceramics. Mould-making and plaster work can also be carried out at the University.

For specialised furniture restoration and decorative arts, we have laboratories and workshops where practical projects and technical processes can be carried out. Upholstery workshops complement all areas of furniture.

At Bucks, we also have a dedicated Textiles facility, ‘The Red Shed’, equipped with print and dye facilities as well as sewing and knitting machines. A computer room is incorporated into the Red Shed for design work and digital printing. Printing presses are also available.

We also have a gallery that is available for hire.
