Student Statistics This page has statistics for the last 3 years, together with a summary of main statistical trends over those years.
Admissions
Total applications for 2011 intake (both September and February intakes) 5374
Total number of successful applicants (enrolled students) 2440
Retention progression and attainment
Data is available for 2010/11 comparing progression and results for those students who have declared a disability compared to those with no disability. Further data sets will be added as more becomes available.
Career opportunities
On some of our courses (nursing and social work) work placement is an integral part of the programme. Arrangements for data collection on work placements numbers for other courses is currently under way.

The Directgov Unistats site provides details of the National Student Satisfaction Survey
Appropriate data has not been collected on the access to and take up of the services offered by our Student Services area. Centralised data collection methods are currently being investigated.
