The Learning Partnership Agreement has been jointly created by the University and its Students’ Union to encourage the commitment of all employees and students to the principle of partnership and to make clearer the basis on which that partnership rests.
This two-way process will relate to resources, both physical and human, behaviour, academic support, learning and teaching, and assessment and feedback, and has been created to enhance the learning and teaching experience of University life. A fundamental principle of this agreement is that University employees and students will be respectful in their dealings with each other.
The Learning Partnership Agreement is divided into four sections. These sections relate directly to the employee/student partnership elements which are fundamental to the agreement. The intention of the agreement is to provide guidance and encourage personal responsibility for behaviour and actions in line with the University’s core values of clarity, openness, respect and delivery on commitments.
Please
download and read the document for full details on the agreement.
If as a student you feel that the principles set out in this Learning Partnership Agreement are not being fulfilled, please contact your module tutor, personal tutor and/or the Students’ Union Advice Centre.
