Thank you for your interest in the role of the Chair of the University’s Council.

This is an interesting time to join our University as it continues to consolidate its achievements and diversify into new business areas which support its vision to be a leading professional and creative influence, shaping higher education for the benefit of people and employers.

We are seeking an excellent and inclusive leader with networking and influencing skills at high levels, preferably on the broader national stage and who will have an understanding and commitment to higher education. They should be able to demonstrate extensive personal influence at board level, provide strategic vision, intellectual challenge and strong governance.

• Informal meetings with the Vice Chancellor will take place between 10 – 25 May 2012
• Formal interviews by the Selection Panel will take place on 30/31 May 2012
